Sheridan's Exhibition Extension & Online Gallery
The COVID-19 Pandemic has unfortunately forced the closure of Midland Junction Arts Centre & the viewing of my current exhibition Sheridan's which was on view until the 11th April. Midland Junction have extended the closing date of my show to the 20th June (with the hope they will be able to open again in this time) and also provided an excellent online gallery showcasing the works. Please follow the below link and have a look at the work, & cross our fingers things return to normal very soon.

Sheridan's Exhibition Opening at Midland Junction Arts Centre

Exhibition continues until 11th April | Wed- Fri 10am- 5pm | Sat 11am - 3pm.Sheridan's is a new body of work by printmaker Emma Jolley, based upon the company Sheridan's Badges & Engraving- one of the longest running family operated businesses in Western Australia.

All The Small Things Exhibition at Pig Melon
All The Small Things, solo exhibition by Jolley opened on Friday 15th November.
Exhibition continues Saturday 16th | Sunday 17th | Wednesday 20th |Thursday 21st 11am- 5pm, 181 Lord Street, Perth.
The exhibition privileges All The Small Things that happen in an artist’s studio. It exposes processes of making including material testing, conceptual experiments & maquettes that are largely unseen by anyone other than the artist. Small scale resolved works, one offs & rarely seen artworks find a place within this exhibition, instead of merely existing as peripheral works to a project or idea. Many of the works in All The Small Things are the beginnings of an idea, line of inquiry or the start of something much larger and for these reasons are some of my most treasured works. A large timeframe is covered in the exhibition, spanning from 2007 to present day, showing consistent themes and interests occurring throughout. Print, Painting, Drawing & Collage are the main medias used in the work shown, as well as tests & manipulations of various medias and materials.
This runs alongside Matthew McVeigh's solo exhibition 'Surveyed' in room 1.
Father Daughter Group Show
19th April – 4th May, 2018
Bina Butcher, Carly Lynch, Emma Jolley, Michelle Wells, Rachel Salmon-Lomas, Taylor Denning, Valleri Foster and Wendy GoldenFather Daughter
Perth-based artists Bina Butcher, Carly Lynch, Emma Jolley, Michelle Wells, Rachel Salmon-Lomas, Taylor Denning, Valleri Foster and Wendy Golden work across a range of mediums to reflect upon fathers from a daughter’s perspective. A common sense of distance and movement is explored by revisiting past events, childhood memories and stories told. The artists consider the roles relocation, shifting occupations, value-systems and family structures play in forming their personal connections with their fathers. This exhibition offers viewers a space to reflect upon their own familial relationships and the commonalities and complexities located within individual and collective lived experience.

Gemma WestonLocale showcases the artwork of Emma Jolley, Monika Lukowska, Carly Lynch, Melanie McKee, Layli Rakhsha, Rachel Salmon-Lomas, and Gemma Weston. This exhibition takes an interdisciplinary printmaking approach to address concerns faced by contemporary artists in an era of increased mobility and development of place. The artists address several significant aspects of place through their work, and recognize that the experience of dislocation, relocation, change and memory of place is common to many. Via temporal and physical explorations of place, from the site-specific to unattainable sites, the artists have used printmaking as a means of returning to place.
