Sheridan's
Sheridan's is a developing series of work based upon the company Sheridan's Badges & Engraving. This company is one of the longest family run businesses in Western Australia. The Original home & factory have recently succumbed to gentrification in West Perth & were demolished in October 2018.
Re- presenting & re- considering found and salvaged articles from Sheridan's, this series of work considers the importance of local production, skill sharing & community connection fostered by such a longstanding local business.
The completed body of work will be shown at Midland Junction Arts Centre from 14th February 2020 - 11th April 2020.
Opening night 14th February 2020 | 6.30 - 8.00pm
